The CEO of Gallagher Chile and Chairman for Latam, Lionel Soffia, attended the Pauta de Negocios programme on Radio Pauta to analyse the current state of the insurance and reinsurance industry both locally as well as internationally.
Soffia commented that one of the consequences of the social outburst could be seen in the increase in certain types of policies. He explained that today “Malicious acts and terrorism insurance is the most demanded in different lines of business”.
Regarding the state of foreign investment, Soffia commented that the first question international clients ask is in which direction Chile is heading and that, in general, medium or long-term projects are pending the results of the constituent process.
